Sansui Has Unveiled Its Lineup of OLED TVs
Sansui, formerly a Japanese brand that enjoyed an excellent reputation for its audio and video products in the 1970s and 80s, has been revived and returned to the US.
The firm’s experts have created a 55-inch 4K OLED TV priced at $799—hundreds less than competing 55-inch OLED models from LG, Sony, and Samsung. In 2025, Sansui will release 55-, 65-, and 77-inch models, which will be introduced as Sansui OLED TVs for sale.
The official number for the 55-inch model is S55VOUG, but it is known simply as the Sansui 55-inch OLED TV. The company claims the TV has a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR Dolby Vision (plus HDR10 and HLG), a built-in 2.1-channel 40-watt sound system with a built-in subwoofer, and Dolby Atmos support.

Sansui confirmed that all three sizes – 55, 65, and 77 – will feature Google TV, two HDMI 2.1 ports (one is HDMI eARC), and two HDMI 2.0 inputs with VRR and ALLM support for gaming.
You’ll also get dual-band Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and one USB 3.0 port.
Google TV powers it and has a voice remote, and Sansui has built its own artificial intelligence-based karaoke feature that removes vocals from YouTube videos in real-time. Sansui claims you can connect Bluetooth headphones for private listening.
Like most OLED TVs, it has a fragile 4.4mm bezel-less frame and rests on a central metal stand.
Sansui said the new TVs will be available on Amazon and Walmart. It also noted that the $799 price depends on retailer promotions.

The expanded 2025 lineup was announced at CES 2025. It includes 120Hz WOLED 4K panels, which means the picture quality should be excellent, even if Sansui’s video processing isn’t up to LG or Sony’s standards.
The original Sansui company ceased operations in 2014. That same year, Express Luck Technologies, a Chinese manufacturer of TVs, computer monitors, and projectors, acquired the brand.
Seems like this 77 inch oled is being marketed in Australia as a Kogan online TV at AUD $ 5499.00 or $3499.00 as a members special??
