Sansui Has Unveiled Its Lineup of OLED TVs
Sansui, a former Japanese brand, was well-regarded for its audio and video products in the 1970s and 80s. Now it has been revived and has returned to the US with its OLED TVs.
The company launched a 55-inch 4K OLED TV for $799, cheaper than similar LG, Sony, and Samsung models.
In 2025, Sansui will unveil its OLED TV lineup, featuring 55-inch, 65-inch, and 77-inch models.
The official number for the 55-inch model is S55VOUG, but it is known simply as the Sansui 55-inch OLED TV.
The company mentions that this TV has a 120Hz refresh rate to enjoy smoother images. It also has HDR Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG for excellent picture quality. It features a 40-watt, 2.1-channel sound system with a built-in subwoofer and Dolby Atmos.

Sansui has announced that all its OLED TVs now have Google TV services. They will have two HDMI 2.1 ports (one for eARC) and two HDMI 2.0 connectors with VRR and ALLM support for gaming.
You’ll also get dual-band Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and one USB 3.0 port.
Google TV powers the device and includes a voice remote. Sansui has added an AI karaoke feature that removes vocals from YouTube videos in real-time. Sansui claims you can connect Bluetooth headphones for private listening.
Like most OLED TVs, it has a fragile 4.4mm bezel-less frame and rests on a central metal stand.
Sansui said the new TVs will be available on Amazon and Walmart. It also noted that the $799 price depends on retailer promotions.

Sansui televisions feature remarkable 120Hz WOLED 4K displays that enhance your viewing experience. However, they do not have the advanced video processing in LG or Sony models.
The original Sansui company ceased operations in 2014. That same year, Express Luck Technologies, a Chinese manufacturer of TVs, computer monitors, and projectors, acquired the brand.
Seems like this 77 inch oled is being marketed in Australia as a Kogan online TV at AUD $ 5499.00 or $3499.00 as a members special??
