Sansui Returns with Affordable OLED TVs Starting at $799

Sansui is a former Japanese brand famous for its audio and video products in the 1970s and ’80s. It has been revived and is back in the U.S. market with a new line of OLED TVs.

The company introduced a 55-inch 4K OLED TV priced at $799—more affordable than comparable models from LG, Sony, and Samsung.

In 2025, Sansui plans to expand its OLED lineup with 55-inch, 65-inch, and 77-inch models.

The official model number for the 55-inch version is S55VOUG, though it’s commonly referred to as the Sansui 55-inch OLED TV.

Sansui OLED TVs now run on Google TV

This model features a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother motion, along with HDR Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG support for enhanced picture quality. It includes a 40-watt, 2.1-channel sound system with a built-in subwoofer and Dolby Atmos.

All Sansui OLED TVs now run on Google TV, offering two HDMI 2.1 ports (including one with eARC), two HDMI 2.0 ports, and support for VRR and ALLM—ideal for gaming.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and one USB 3.0 port.

Powered by Google TV, the device comes with a voice-enabled remote. Sansui has also introduced an AI karaoke feature that removes vocals from YouTube videos in real time. Bluetooth headphone support is available for private listening.

Like most OLED TVs, it features a slim 4.4mm bezel-less frame and sits on a central metal stand.

Sansui has confirmed availability through Amazon and Walmart, noting that the $799 price may vary depending on retailer promotions.

Sansui showcased its new models at CES 2025.

These TVs feature impressive 120Hz WOLED 4K displays that elevate the viewing experience. However, they lack the advanced video processing found in LG and Sony models.

The original Sansui company ceased operations in 2014. That same year, Express Luck Technologies—a Chinese manufacturer of TVs, monitors, and projectors—acquired the brand.

Seems like this 77 inch oled is being marketed in Australia as a Kogan online TV at AUD $ 5499.00 or $3499.00 as a members special??
