Samsung 2025 TVs
The company released several new technologies this year and integrated them into Samsung’s new 2025 TV lineup.
For example, the firm has released the fourth generation of QD-OLED and WOLED models. One of the most interesting new products is the S95F TV. It uses QD-OLED technology to display a bright picture.
The Frame Pro TV will use a new wireless One Connect box for The Frame Pro TV. For the first time, these models use a matrix with edge-lit miniLED backlighting. Lastly, the updated series The Frame Pro turns into a picture on the wall when turned off.
Samsung’s 2025 TV lineup will include even fewer models with 8K resolution. The new top model is the QN990F, which has 8K resolution.
Samsung OLED models
In the TV market, OLED models are locked in an intense battle for dominance in image quality. Many believe organic light-emitting diode (OLED) matrices hold the lead over LCD panels.
Samsung is increasing the number of its OLED models in the lineup. There will be three series with diagonals of up to 83 inches.

In 2025, Samsung will continue to use 4th-generation QD-OLED and WOLED white backlit matrices in its TVs. This year, the S90F series will expand to the S95F series, with the 83-inch S95F with WOLED.
What is the performance of the QD-OLED matrix in models equipped with smaller screens?
The main feature of the new S95F TV is the screen’s brightness. The manufacturer claims it exceeds 2000 nits in FILMMAKER and Cinema modes when measured at 10% of the screen. When the screen is entirely white, the brightness reaches 400 nits. The display is 30% brighter than last year’s models.
According to the company, this result is thanks to the new 4th-generation QD-OLED panel with improved organic materials. The panel can produce up to 4000 nits of brightness, including red, green, and blue. However, the TV uses lower settings in actual use, but these values remain impressive.
The new range has significantly expanded the choice of screen sizes. The S95F will now be available in 55, 65, 77, and 83-inch diagonals. The 83-inch model will use WOLED technology, while the others will use QD-OLED.
Samsung paid special attention to the quality of the image in ambient light. The screen features an Anti-Glare 2.0 matte coating that eliminates natural and artificial light reflections.
Engineers have now fixed the black color issue, preventing it from turning gray in sunlight, unlike last year’s models.
Samsung QN990F Neo QLED 8K: The New Flagship Of 2025
The company’s QN990F is the QN990F newest TV, with 8K resolution. It combines cutting-edge technologies, including innovative solutions for image and sound processing.
The new NQ8 AI Gen3 processor with 8K AI Upscaling Pro technology is at the heart of the TV. The company uses AI to boost content to 8K quality, adding more details and making everything more transparent.
Auto HDR Remastering Pro boosts each scene, making the colors pop and look more lively, particularly in dimly lit areas.
Color Booster Pro enhances color fidelity by examining every frame and utilizing artificial intelligence to adjust colors for optimal accuracy. This system uses AI Mode to change the picture and sound in real time based on viewing conditions, room lighting, content type, and more.
The Adaptive Sound Pro sound system uses artificial intelligence to process the different audio components separately. It separately enhances voices, music, and sound effects to ensure a clear and balanced sound in every scene. The system analyzes content and room conditions for optimal sound reproduction.
In 2025, a groundbreaking innovation will emerge: the fully wireless One Connect unit. All cables connect to a box that wirelessly sends the signal to the TV with excellent picture quality.
The QN990F retains Samsung’s style with an ultra-slim body and minimalist design.
The company will discontinue the QN700 series in 2024 and phase out the QN800 series in 2025.
4K LCD TVs
This group’s QN90F TV will be the QN90F in 2025. It will be available in sizes up to 115 inches and have a WHVA LCD matrix from TCL.
Samsung enhances picture quality by integrating miniLED dimming zones.
Samsung will also include a new side-lit miniLED system in the QN70F “Neo QLED” LCD TV. The QN85F and the QN80F will still be available, and the latter will be available in a 100-inch variant.
The company will add other entry-level LCD TVs to the model list later this year. Samsung is considering launching a flagship 4K LCD TV with an RGB microLED backlit.

Lifestyle Samsung 2025 TV Lineup
Samsung has also unveiled updates to its picture TVs. The updated Samsung Art Store service and the latest “The Frame Pro” model are the two main new features.
The Samsung Art Store collection has grown to 3,000 works of art. Here, you can find works from the MoMA Museum of Modern Art and paintings by Magritte and Basquiat. This collection is now accessible to owners of The Frame, micro LED, Neo QLED, and QLED TVs.
The Frame Pro has an upgraded Neo QLED matrix that enhances brightness and contrast and deepens black levels.
The recently launched NQ4 Gen3 AI processor dramatically enhances picture quality. Another major update is the One Connect wireless module, which makes installing the TV easier.
Samsung also partnered with the prestigious Art Basel art fair, where The Frame has become the official art display. Hayley Romer, the Development Director at Art Basel, shared that this partnership is about making art more accessible. It’s great because it means everyone can enjoy amazing artwork from their homes.
Let’s get to know the Samsung TV buying guide. There are many things that are common to all brands.
New Samsung Vision AI Features
The capabilities of the Vision AI system are that it turns an ordinary TV into an intelligent assistant. The new system can analyze its environment, adapt to users, and automatically suggest useful functions.
The system has three key areas of development.
The standout feature is the ability to customize your viewing experience. Click to Search lets you quickly access information about actors or objects in the frame while watching. There’s also a built-in Live Translate translator for international content that translates subtitles in real time.
And the Generative Wallpaper feature allows you to create unique background images to match your interior and mood.
The SmartThings system connects the second trend to the smart home. The TV monitors home security and sends notifications if something goes wrong. The Pet and Family Care feature comprehensively monitors your pets and family members. It can sense something wrong and automatically adjust the lighting, like dimming the lights if a child falls asleep.
The third area is improving picture and sound quality. Artificial intelligence analyzes content and viewing conditions, constantly adjusting settings for the best results. A new NQ4 AI Gen3 processor with 128 neural networks is responsible for this.
Vision AI has also gained support for third-party services. Samsung is teaming up with Microsoft to integrate Copilot into its TVs, enhancing voice control and replacing Google Assistant.
Samsung received the prestigious CES 2025 Innovation Award for its AI innovations, including Click to Search and Live Translate.
Other Updates
Samsung will update Tizen on older Smart TVs, allowing some 2023 and 2024 models to receive new features this year. Unfortunately, Tizen 9.0 is lacking.
In 2022, Samsung will add Dolby Atmos support and launch Eclipsa Audio, which Google developed. In 2025, Samsung’s soundbars will feature support for Eclipsa Audio.
Samsung remains opposed to Dolby Vision, Dolby’s format. Samsung continues promoting its HDR10+ format, which is becoming even more popular. Apple added HDR10+ for its iTunes and TV+ movies in 2022, while Disney+ will support it in late 2025.
Samsung has prepared a pleasant surprise for gamers—the screen refresh rate has increased to 165Hz. Samsung is launching a new gaming mode that enhances HDR color accuracy, addressing a previous issue with their TVs.
